let IT be me!

Where do I see myself 10 years from now?

Having my own great successful company, and to just choose who ever my employees! Hahaha
When I was still in grade five the only dream I have is to be a great Photographer. The lens and flash of the camera attract me much, in my middle school I am always with my tito, he own a photo studio, he teaches me how to take photo using professional cameras. That dream never dies nadagdagan pa nga. But Sometimes I don’t like thinking too much about the future, after all we can only live in the present moment, and thus we should focus on that. But there’s something that I’m thinking more and more lately, and that’s helping me to get a lot of motivation.
It all started with a quote that I had read in the book “A Passion for the Possible”. It is actually a guide book to realize your true potential.

The quote goes this way “many years from now, you’ll regret the things you didn’t do, not the ones you did”. This definitely true. I don’t regret the past for the things I did, indeed I would repeat everything I’d have the chance, but I certainly wouldn’t mind having pushed my limitations further.
Whenever I think about this, I realize how many opportunities we waste by occupying our mind with the wrong things.
Problems don’t exist in the present moment, nor do feelings. The present moment is a gift you have, and you can decide wherever to enjoy it, or ignore it by projecting into the past and the future.
After all life is full of challenges, everything happen for a reason, God won’t give us problems without any positive solution.
I sincerely don’t know wherever I’ll still be alive by then, and who I’ll be. But I know one thing for sure, and that I would want to have lived my life to the fullest by then, and I can only achieve that by living my life now.
Give your best now and you’ll never regret everything that you’ve done seriously.

Was my learning in SPUP vital to where I'm leading to?

The answer is yes! We start learning at home, which we apply in school; the only thing I know is that may makalimutan man tayo na sinabi ni teacher but It will never be all! There will always and still be something that will stay in our minds. I’ll apply every single word and action that has been well said and well defined to me, whether good or bad, the significance there is that I know what is right and wrong.

Was IT the best course choice after all? (State the struggles you had in the course as well as convincing relatives/friends that it's the best course out there) Why not nursing?

For me yes! It’s my dream anyway. It’s what I really want, it is my only one choice, and it’s my happiness. At first my mom and mita (lola) said I’ll be taking up dentistry, para daw magawan ko si mita ng artificial teeth nya (postiso) haha, first scene may 27, 2008 I said I’ll go to st. Louis university to take my dentistry degree, its what my mom’s choice, so ayun, I take my entrance exam, tapos nakapasa ako, dentistry first choice, IT second, don’t have any third choice, nakapasa ako sa dentistry and IT, then they ask me what I really want, tapos sabi ko I can’t decide so ayun hindi pa ako nagenroll, second scene may 29, 2008 I told my mom my best friend will study in St. Paul University Philippines here in tuguegarao so she sent me again in SPUP to take a entrance test and let it be IT, so I went to St. Paul, take my entrance exam. I was able to passed again, so ayun, my dream came true! Haha

Sabi ko noon kay mommy ko, ma IT is in demand, it will be easier for me to find job (work). So ayun without any she said, okey! Haha.
NURSING? It’s not my choice, it’s my cousin’s choice, and all of them are nurses. Haha they love nursing, commerce, accountancy.

LET IT BE ME…

State everything you've learned in IT Management and Current Trends and the course subject experience itself.

I’ve learn so many things in IT management and most of all the super daming CURRENT trends. The first line that came into my mind is that this subject will be boring, hindi pa po kita kilala nun sir mars, ung name mo lng na MARS ang kilala kop o noon, then all of a sudden, first day of class, it’s not boring anyway, it is exciting, challenging, sometimes emotional, but most of all we come out in the root skittles on our pockets joke. Haha come out in the room that we have learn many things this day. Ayun.
It’s my first time to update myself about the current IT trends, all about the newest version of this one, of that one. it’s so exciting. At pag hindi alam, maghula hula nalang and masasayahan nalang ako saktong tumama yung sagot ko. haha
the subject and the teacher is very interesting! There’s so much to learn. sa subject and the teacher. Our teacher is huge, He knows a lot that we think we have so many things we don’t really don’t know that we supposed to know. He talks alien always, we don’t know those simple things that he’s telling us, simple sa kanya pero super complicated samin. He inspires us a lot especially to those words of wisdom that he’s telling us in the midst of our Thesis. He has lots of achievements and excellent knowledge yet he still stays humble.
I’ve learned more about websites and blogs and how to create one, I came to differentiate the 3 worlds of IT, which are the function, network and enterprise IT. . I’ve learned what social engineering is: and it is the efforts to influence society on a large scale. The practice of obtaining confidential information by manipulating and/or deceiving people. I’ve learned about risk management, corporate security policies, and some secrets of windows operating systems. I’ve learned about artificial intelligence, I’ve learned about the so called Cloud Computing, which is a technology that uses the internet and central remote servers to maintain data and applications. Cloud computing allows consumers and businesses to use applications without installation and access their personal files at any computer with internet access. I also learned about malwares their similarities and differences, virus, worm, trojan horse, spyware, fake antivirus, malvertisements. Privacy, and security issues and a bunch more! Another one is the Pop Quiz and. . .

What part of it will you never forget?

I love the amazing prizes he gives out during our class. It wakes the class up. That’s the first time I had encounter a teacher giving so many prizes in class. I will never forget our teacher, the subject, the things I’ve learned from our teacher and from the subject, and the fun we all had. Too bad we just get together for a few meetings. But what we learned were countless amazing facts and stories that would be cherished forever.  ♥ ♥
